The interconnected challenges of climate change, emerging diseases, and health system limitations are placing unprecedented pressures on health systems, especially across the Global South.

Digital solutions, including data and AI-driven technologies, hold immense promise for enhancing health system adaptation by providing predictive insights, optimizing resource allocation, and enabling timely, data-informed decisions tailored to local contexts.

These innovations offer transformative opportunities to address complex health and climate challenges—enhancing disease surveillance, improving early warning systems, and supporting targeted interventions, for both immediate and long term impacts.

This side meeting brings together key stakeholders—governments, health practitioners, researchers, and community leaders—to collaboratively address pressing health, climate, and other challenges. Participants will identify key health and climate needs, explore critical data sources and foster an understanding of potential issues and possibilities to build a healthier world.

  • Identify key community health and climate challenges
  • Explore practical data sources and challenges associated with it to inform AI applications
  • Co-create actionable AI-driven solution prototypes
  • Foster collaboration among stakeholders, including governments, practitioners, and communities
  • Discuss strategies for integrating AI into existing frameworks to enhance decision making and community engagement
