The capacity to conduct robust research in population health metrics remains limited in many parts of the world, hindering efforts to turn evidence into impact for the world's pressing global health challenges. The GBD Fellowship seeks to bridge this gap by providing an intensive training program that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and advances health metrics research on a global scale. Through this fellowship, talented individuals with a passion for global health metrics receive comprehensive training in GBD methods and applications. Competitive candidates have advanced degrees with a strong foundation in quantitative methods, which may be from a wide range of disciplines including epidemiology, demography, biostatistics, medical sciences, health policy, economics, mathematics, computer science, statistics, and other related fields.
