Resham is a purpose-driven public health leader at the intersection of AI, digital technologies, and global health. Currently, she leads the Public Health Impact through Artificial Intelligence (PhixAi) initiative at PATH driving efforts to achieve UHC and health equity across LMICs by building AI for health ecosystems and strengthening South-South collaborations. Her vision is to create an AI-empowered health ecology through partnerships and a shared mission. As the ORF US-India AI Fellow, Resham plays a pivotal role in strengthening U.S.-India technology relations, focusing on AI governance with a special emphasis on public health.
With over a decade of experience, Resham’s expertise encompasses health and tech policy, strategy, research and building strategic alliances. Her work in governance reforms has influenced key policies in India and the USA. She engages with governments, global organisations, research institutions, and communities worldwide, leveraging AI to transform health systems and shape policies. This showcases her ability to adapt and apply AI strategies within diverse cultural and localised contexts to ensure health improvements. Above all, she values integrity, collaboration, inclusion, authenticity, and joy in her work.
