Zoey, Zoljargal Lkhagvajav is a dedicated professional with a background in clinical medicine and public health, currently advancing her expertise in digital health and health informatics. As a Board Member and Health Informatics Lead at the Mongolian Society of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, Zoey has contributed to organizing international conferences on AI in Medicine and publishing on the role of AI in achieving Universal Health Coverage in Mongolia. Her work includes projects on health data interoperability standards and the first Digital Health Landscape Assessment in Mongolia.
Zoey's academic journey includes an MD from the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, an MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and ongoing PhD studies at the University of Washington. Her research interests focus on the implementation of digital health and health informatics solutions including but not limited to synchronous and asynchronous telemedicine services, health data interoperability, nationwide EHR systems, and clinical decision support tools in low and middle income country settings. Zoey is specifically interested in nationwide implementations of such solutions and vital policy considerations.
