Indira Dewi Kantiana (Indira) is a Research Associate with a focus in Law and Governance, Biosecurity and Global Health at the Asia Centre for Health Security, headquartered at the Saw Swee Hock of Public Health at the National University of Singapore (expected to begin at the end of November 2024). She was a Senior Policy Analyst at the Center for Indonesia’s Strategic Development Initiatives (CISDI). Her primary research at CISDI was on civil society’s participation in global health law and governance as well as pandemic prevention, preparedness and response. She advocates for equitable and inclusive access to health, particularly for marginalized and vulnerable groups. Indira is a Chevening Scholar and earned her MSc in Global Health & Development at University College London. She was also selected as a Pôle Berenstein Scholar to attend the Summer School on Global Health Law at University of Geneva. Previously, Indira was an Associate at the Mergers and Acquisition practice of Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung in association with Herbert Smith Freehills, with a particular focus in healthcare.
