Dr. Hongqiao Fu is an assistant Professor of Health Economics and Policy in School of Public Health at Peking University. He graduated from National School of Development at Peking University in 2018 and holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics. He was a visiting scholar from October 2015 to February 2017 at Harvard School of Public Health. His research focuses on rigorous and policy-relevant health system evaluations by integrating theories and methods of economics, management, and public health. Dr. Fu has published a series of academic papers in leading international journals, such as Lancet Public Health, Lancet Regional Health- Western Pacific, Social Science & Medicine, Health Policy and Planning, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, and Journal of Comparative Economics. His work has been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education of China, and the Social Science Fund of Beijing. He now serves as the secretary-general of Health Insurance Specialty Committee of China Health Economics Association, the secretary-general of Yinchuan Internet+ Health Association, the member of NHSA expert committee on DIP payment, and the World Bank consultant for health care reform in China.
